Hope House

Hope House

To provide a place of seclusion, restoration, and healing for domestic minor sex trafficking victims (U.S. girls under 18 yrs.old).
On Eagles Wings Ministries
The Hope House project was started in 2008 by On Eagles Wings Ministries (OEW). OEW is based out of Asheville, NC and was founded by Emily Fitchpatrick in 2007. After a trip to Bangkok, Thailand to minister to women trapped in prostitution and sex trafficking in January 2008, Emily knew that her life had been completely changed. Her knowledge of this form of modern-day slavery lit a fire in her and she knew something had to be done. After extensive research, training, and networking with professionals in the field; OEW developed the first faith based (Christ-centered) shelter model for minor sex trafficking victims in the U.S. OEW is not a church, it is a parachurch ministry made up of many individuals from several denominations in the Christian faith.
